The Multi-Agency Wetland Planning Team (MAWPT) wants to help educators teach the children of our state about the beauty and value of wetlands. We've compiled some educational materials, useful links, and a Teacher's Tour through our site. This Teacher's Tour will guide you through the Wetlands of Arkansas, leading you through the pages of background information, basic classification, and an example wetland type from each class. We hope that you find the information helpful, and will write the web editor with other suggested sites or materials, so we can help get the word out.
